MISSED APPOINTMENT / Late Cancellation Policy 

A “missed appointment” is someone who:

Misses their appointment
Cancels their appointment with less than 24 hours (1 business day) notice
Fails to arrive at a reasonable time of a scheduled appointment (i.e. a late arrival)

If you miss your appointment, a missed appointment fee will be applied to your account. If you are late, we will try to accommodate you after other patients are seen, and if the schedule permits. To avoid missing your appointment, please make sure that we have your current email address on file so that you will receive your appointment reminders in a timely fashion. Please call us (416-506-3668) if you are running late for any reason as this will help us with rescheduling.

Please note that assessments by our team are not OHIP insured. However, many of the products and services that we provide are typically covered by third party insurance plans and university insurance plans. We recommend that you contact your insurance provider to determine what your plan covers prior to booking your appointment.

If your doctor has prescribed for you a specific appliance or device (eg. custom foot orthotics, knee brace, compression socks), please contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment with regard to your coverage.
