CLOSED WEEKENDS, AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
After consulting with our college (College of Chiropodists of Ontario), we have decided that it is in the best interest of our staff, patients and the public, that access to the Toronto Foot Clinic will operate with restricted hours for all services.
In an effort to protect everyone, our practitioners will be available by appointment ONLY on select days and times.
Please contact us using this form to book an appointment and select your appointment need from the list. This will help us with booking your treatment in a timely and safe manner. We will reply during our operating hours.
If you are coming to the office, we want to assure you that we are maintaining appropriate infection prevention and control procedures according to Public Health Ontario protocols. We will be wearing personal protective equipment, have implemented social distancing protocols in our treatment rooms, and updated systems and administrative controls necessary to minimize the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus.
We have limited the amount of staff on site, and have spaced out our appointments to help prevent transmission. We ask that if you need assistance to come to your appointment, that anyone travelling with you wait outside the clinic to help us maintain these protocols.
If you have a mask and/or gloves (or other protective wear), we recommend that you wear these to your appointment.
Please note that we have staggered appointments and the use of our treatment rooms to help prevent the spread.
The building our office is located in is partially open to the public. Please enter through the Bay Street entrance, and use the intercom to contact Security to be let in if the doors are locked.
We are also strongly advising our staff to follow the directions of the Government of Ontario regarding how we minimize the spread of the virus. It must be understood, however, that these are unprecedented times and despite screening all of our patients before they attend the office, it is impossible to give any assurances that the persons who do attend have not been exposed to the virus which could potentially put others at risk.
We sincerely value your understanding and wish you all wellness during this uncertain time.
Thank you
TIPS: wash hands frequently using soap and water, use hand sanitizer, and try to avoid touching your face
COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE
As many organizations are making policy changes to mitigate risk related to Covid-19 (Coronavirus), we have also made adjustments in our clinic to minimize your exposure.
We ask that you please cancel your appointment at least 12 hours before and to stay at home if you are symptomatic. Some symptoms include:
Fever • New onset of cough • Worsening chronic cough • Shortness of breath • Difficulty breathing • Sore throat • Difficulty swallowing • Decrease of loss of sense of taste or smell • Chills • Headaches • Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias) • Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain • Pink eye (conjunctivitis) • Runny nose or nasal congestion without other known cause
